School Director Mary Manning
Mary brings 25 years experience in the dance industry to West Linn. She received her formal ballet training at the San Francisco Ballet School as a scholarship student. It was there she solidified her life long passion for ballet.
Mary went on to dance with several ballet companies in the San Francisco Bay area. As a company member of the San Francisco Dance Theater she was chosen to be a soloist in the PBS nationally broadcast ballet "Women Song".
Mary then was offered the exciting opportunity to be a soloist for Carnival and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Upon completing two contracts, Mary spent a year in NYC studying and dancing with many dancers she had admired as a child.
Upon returning to California, Mary began teaching ballet and jazz while attending the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in San Francisco. She has been teaching and making dance costumes ever since.
Mary lives in West Linn with her husband and two children. Opening a dance studio is fulfilling her life long dream.
